THE SPRING 2020 POSTER CONTEST CALL FOR ENTRIES
JOIN THE FUN AND ENTER YOUR ARTWORK TO WIN A FREE REGISTRATION!
The Brewery Artwalk Association (BAA) invites you to get involved in our latest fundraising effort. We are raising funds to repaint the Artwalk billboard which sits on top of the 2100 North Main Street building, facing the 5 Freeway. We’re looking for interested Brewery artists to participate in our Poster Contest. The winning poster will be used to fundraise for the billboard re-painting and to help promote the Spring 2020 artwalk. The winning design will not appear on the billboard but will hopefully become the first in a line of commemorative Artwalk posters. We look forward to seeing what you come up with!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
The winner will have his/her poster reproduced and sold both online and in person at the Spring 2020 Artwalk as part of a fund raising campaign for the BAA for the repainting of our billboard. Credit for the design will be attributed to the artist both on the poster and the BAA website and may be included in press releases and other marketing and PR material in association with the Brewery Artwalk. All funds earned from poster sales will go directly to the BAA. The winner will receive one single-artist resident registration for the Spring 2020 Artwalk. If the winner is already registered for the event they will be reimbursed the full amount of their registration up to the highest tier for a single artist resident registration. The contest is open to entries starting Jan 15, 2020 and closes Feb 29, 2020. All entries will then be posted online, and voting will be opened to the general public starting at midnight on March 1, 2020. Voting will close at midnight on March 8, 2020 and the winner will be announced. This is a great opportunity to display your creative talent and show your support for your community and the Brewery Artwalk! If the contest proves popular, your winning design may be the first in a series of collectible Artwalk posters!
